I'm courting a large retail company for a perm project management position. I have an inside recommendation and talk with the HR rep occasionally. They are about to embark on an SAP implementation and are starting to look for resources. I am currently contracting and occasionally use SAP for purchase order entry, good receipts, invoice management.
I am thinking of committing time and money and getting some SAP skills and leveraging this into a perm position. As a project manager, what SAP skills would be most desirable? I know SAP is huge, there are many modules, implementation takes a year, and training costs crazy money if it is out of pocket.
Any help will be apprecited.
I didn't find the right solution from the Internet.
